Build strength. Refine technique. Gain confidence. Keep swimming all winter.

The Strattonwood Winter Swim Team gives swimmers the opportunity to continue developing their skills, endurance, and confidence after the summer season ends.

Our winter program is designed for swimmers who are ready to move beyond traditional swim lessons and spend more time developing stroke technique, endurance, starts, turns, teamwork, and overall swimming ability.

Whether your swimmer is preparing for competitive swimming, wants to maintain the skills they built over the summer, or simply loves being in the water, Winter Swim Team provides a fun, supportive environment to keep progressing all winter long.

Why Winter Swim Team at Strattonwood?

Experienced Instruction
Our instructors focus on developing strong swimmers—not simply getting swimmers through a workout.

Small-Team Environment
A smaller program allows coaches to provide individual feedback while still giving swimmers the energy and motivation of being part of a team.

Continued Skill Progression
Swimming is a skill that improves with consistent practice. Winter Swim Team gives swimmers a chance to continue building on the progress they made during the summer.

A Supportive Community
Strattonwood is about more than swimming. Our goal is to create a positive team environment where swimmers feel challenged, supported, and excited to come back to the pool.

Keep Swimming. Keep Improving.

For many swimmers, the biggest challenge isn't learning how to swim—it's continuing to build strength and technique once the summer season ends.

Winter Swim Team keeps swimmers in the water during the off-season so they can maintain their skills, build endurance, and return to summer swimming stronger and more confident.

It's also a great stepping stone for swimmers who may eventually want to join a more competitive year-round swim program.

What Should My Swimmer Bring?

Swimmers should come prepared for every practice with:

  • Swimsuit

  • Goggles

  • Swim cap (recommended)

  • Towel

  • Water bottle

  • Positive attitude and willingness to work!
