Hi! My name is Aarti Aravapalli and I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, where I recently graduated with a B.A. in Plan II Honors and a minor in Business and am currently working towards a B.S. in Advertising. I have been officially teaching for B3 for about 5 years, but I have been involved with helping the program in some capacity for almost a decade now. I believe that each child learns in a different way, and I am passionate about creating a classroom environment where each of my students has the necessary support to grow and have fun. I look forward to another amazing summer working with your kids!

  Avery Wujek

Hello everyone! I am Avery Wujek and I am so excited to back for another year of fun! In May of 2022, I graduated from The University of North Texas with a degree in Elementary Education. In the fall of 2022 I will be beginning my first year teaching and am so excited! My number one thing I always strive to do is not only learn, but have fun while you learn, because who doesn’t like to have fun! Some things I love to do is spend time with my family, my dog, and my friends. I also enjoy reading a good book, cooking, basketball, and traveling with those I love.

Hello! My name is Gargi Dasgupta and I have taught at Bricks, Bots, and Beakers for almost a decade. I work with FISD as a substitute teacher during the school year and also do private math tutoring for K-10.  Being in the education field the last 10 years, I have learned that there is a Goldilocks in every kid. Give them something that is too challenging, they get frustrated, too easy and they are bored. If they are presented with something ‘just right’ ,it’s amazing how creative and innovative they get . I strive to make them feel comfortable in my class so that they can work to their full potential.

My name is Kaylee Donahoo and this will be my sixth year with Bricks, Bots, and Beakers! I have a passion for teaching young students, and love that I am able to do that through B3. I am currently an UNT elementary music major with a concentration in flute. Next semester, I will be student teaching in an elementary music classroom and could not be more excited to continue working with students while sharing my passion for music.

B3 has been a big part of me and I love coming back each summer to teach all of our creative and unique camps. Each year I am more and more inspired by the students who come through our program, and see so many hard working kids. This makes me so excited to be teaching for a career.

Some things I love are Marvel movies, jazz music, science, the color green, playing the flute and piano, spending time with friends and family, and of course teaching. I can’t wait to be teaching your kiddos this summer!

As a Plano resident for the last 15 years and a substitute teacher in Plano and Frisco ISD, my passion is to work with children and see them flourish . Be it working with them on theatrical production or organizing community youth outreach programs, I am continuously amazed by their creativity and compassion.
I strive to build positive relationships with children, to encourage them, and to provide challenges that foster learning.

I call myself an accidental teacher.  I got drafted to be a team manager for my daughters Destination Imagination team, a project-based program that teaches kids creative problem-solving skills. I fell in love with this program and more importantly fell in love with teaching.  I decided to leave behind the software industry in which I had worked for 16 years and enter the classroom. I wanted to create an environment that fosters the importance of learning and a strong work ethic.

My Educational Philosophy

I believe each student learns in their own way and style.  I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where each student can have the opportunity to experience success and progress.  It is my goal to help encourage my students to think outside the box and look beyond the four walls of the classroom and view the world around them as a place of learning and discovery.
