Welcome To XtraORDinary Gymnastics
I am excited to share the sport of gymnastics with your child. Gymnastics goes more by ability not age. If your child is new to class, they must start in a spot where they can be productive and build skills. It may not be with gymnasts their own age. Safety is always top proiority. XtraORDinary Gymnastics goals are to challange each gymnasts in a safe and friendly setting.
RECREATIONAL CLASSES.
50 Minutes of class will be spent on 1 gymnastics event each week. Events are Vault, Bar, Beam, Floor. The last 10 minutes of class we will play a game. All gymnasts will start with skills that are challenging to them in a safe and friendly setting.
LEVEL 1-2 Twice a week class , 3 hours total per week.
LEVEL 3-OPTIONAL Twice a week class, 4 hours total per week
Being on Team is Invite Only. Gymnasts should have a minimum of 1 year of recreational gymnastics classes. A Coach's Evaluation will take place to put your gymnasts in the level that will need to succeed.
Arrival for Class:
When your child arrives at the gym they can put their belongings in a cubby and then wait on the bench in the waiting area. Your coach will come and get you from the bench for class.
Makeup Classes:
You are welcome to make-up a class within the month you miss. Attending a back to back class is best, or you may come to a different class of your level. Check with Coach Bobbie on your exact times.
Class Behavior:
Safety is big here at XtraORDinary Gymnastics. Waiting your turn, knowing where to stand safely, as well as following verbal directions are emphasized. Respect of equipment and the proper use of it will be enforced. Your gymnasts will be supported as they participate in class, and they are expected to support each other as we learn new and exciting skills. No bullying will be tolerated. 1 warning , if changes are not being made to stop bullying, the child will be asked to leave class.

Make sure your child is not coming to gymnastics in loose clothing and dance skirts. It is very unsafe. Boys wear singlets, or tight fitting shorts and a tank. .

in class every week; you are welcome to sit in the office. I find this is less distracting for the whole class. Only members of XtraOrdinary Gymnastics
are allowed in the gym and on the equipment.
No Parents on the gym floor or equipment.
No food in the gym area.
No gymnasts should be in the gym area without a coach.
