“Modeling” Stage: Parents and caregivers act as music-making role models, nurturing their child's innate musicality. Babies and young toddlers learn by observing and imitating these actions. Participation increases as babies become more familiar with the sights, sounds, and feelings of music, as well as the class routines.

What to Expect:

  • Singing: Engaging songs with large and small movement acivities included.
  • Parent Education: Tips and ideas for how to engage musically with your baby or young toddler at home.
  • Dancing: Simple dances that include participatory movement.
  • Lap Songs and Bounces: Interactive songs that encourage purposeful rhythm and small movement.
  • Peek-a-boo Games: Fun and engaging games to captivate babies' attention.
  • Scarves and Movement: Using scarves to encourage movement and sensory exploration.
  • Basic Rhythm Activities: Introducing simple rhythm patterns.
  • Hands-on Play with Instruments: Exploring egg shakers, tambourines, and other instruments to foster hands-on musical experiences.

This class is is designed to create a joyful and educational musical environment where babies and their caregivers can bond through play and music.
