A+ COOKING, BAKING & GARDENING!!
A+ Cooking is more than just a cooking class! Designed for adaptive and neurodiverse students, this hands-on program helps students build confidence, independence, and real-world skills through cooking and creativity. Students will learn how to prepare recipes, practice kitchen safety, grow and harvest food through gardening, organize and manage a classroom kitchen, and even develop the confidence to help lead and teach a class. From the garden to the kitchen and beyond, A+ Cooking gives students opportunities to discover their strengths, develop valuable life and leadership skills, and experience the pride of saying, “I can do this!”
Skills students will learn:
* Following a recipe
* Measuring
* Patience/Problem solving
* Kitchen hygeine
* Gardening
* Kitchen Appliance Management
* Decorating skills, tips, presentation & more!
Class Time: 5:30PM - 6:30PM
First Day of Class: September 14, 2026
Last Day of Class: December 14, 2026
Cost:$300/Semester
Semester Length: Semester is 12-Weeks/Classes
There will not be any regular classes during the weeks of:
* October 12 - 16, 2026 & November 23 - 28, 2026
