Charlotte
Charlotte has a BA in music and has been teaching music to children for over 20 years at preschools, music schools, private elementary schools and community centers, and in her own private lessons and classes. During her first ten years teaching guitar to children, she began to realize the importance of music education in early childhood, and in response, created Music for Tots in 2012. After a humble beginning teaching at community centers, she released the award-winning children's album A Spoonful of Songs in 2016. Then, in 2021, she began offering outdoor music classes at her home in south Seattle. The outdoor classes were an instant hit, and her Music for Tots Outdoors program thrived for three and a half years, with a schedule of classes several days a week that served 40-50 students at a time. Miss Charlotte is relocating to Portland in the Fall of 2024 but is delighted to see Music for Tots carry on indoors in Seattle with teachers Marti and Joanna, and is also excited to offer some new classes in Portland. |

Joanna
Joanna is a mom, a musician and an environmental educator. Having inherited her love of music from her father, she is excited to pass it on to the next generation. She plays guitar, banjo, flute and ukulele. When not teaching, you may find her hiking, snorkeling, or paddling; or squawking and dancing with herons alongside her inquisitive toddler. |

Aimee Lunier
Aimée started playing ukulele twelve years ago when she took her own small child to a music class similar to Music for Tots. It became one of her favorite hobbies, and she has sung and strummed with several uke groups around the Seattle area. Both of her kids have participated in music classes with Miss Charlotte, while she continued to build on her own ukulele experience in Miss Charlotte’s adult ukulele classes. She is delighted that her musical adventures have come full circle as she joins the Music for Tots team as a teacher-in-training. |
