In this fun, interactive class, kids build essential skills for making music with others and explore methods of musical expression. We play ukuleles, pitched percussion (xylophone bars, glockenspiels, boomwhackers) and hand drums. Musical games build confidence in musical improvisation, and our curriculum includes songs from around the world. 

We'll learn the F, C, and Am chords, sing songs and play musical games. Students will learn to sing and strum a few simple songs on ukulele.

Important: Students must have their own ukuleles in order to participate in this class.
