Broadway Boot Camp
Students will learn parts of two Broadway shows over the course of four days: one dance, song, and scene. Age groups will be divided out for scene and dance work and come together for the singing portion of the camp. There will be a short performance for parents and caregivers at 4pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
"Make A Musical" Camp - Ages 6+
Students ages 6-13 will have the opportunity to be part of creating a brand new musical with a team of writers, composers, and directors. They will then have the chance to stage their musical and become the directors, choreographers and stage crew. A wonderfully creative camp giving children the power to become the writers and creative team!
Playmakers® Camp - Half Day
*Must be potty trained*
An introductory half day performing arts camp for young budding performers looking to play and create in a nourishing, confidence-building environment. Building upon the natural born talent of play-acting, we teach them enriched story-telling through speech, characterization, singing, dance, puppetry, and crafts.
Playmakers Camp - Full Day (ages 4 & 5)
Same fun camp day with added 12 - 3pm hours for our older campers. Lunch must be provided. Camp includes all performing arts elements and is based on a weekly theme. Singing, dancing, acting and crafts will be enjoyed daily.
Summer Dance Intensive Camp - Ages 6+
Dance Intensive camp gives students the opportunity to explore creativity while building strong dance fundamentals. Throughout the week, dancers will be introduced to multiple dance styles, along with conditioning specifically designed for dancers. Students are grouped by age and experience level. Camp is held Monday through Thursday from 9am-4pm with a final performance for parents and guests on Thursday at 3:15pm.
Shakespeare for Kids Camp - Ages 6+
This camp will focus on various approaches to acting Shakespeare’s verse, with the aim of bringing the actor closer to the text. Students will explore text from a technical approach (including iambic pentameter, rhetoric, punctuation, etc) to personal connection (e.g., imagery and character) in an age appropriate way giving students a better understanding of the literature. Camp is Monday through Thursday from 9am-4pm and Friday 9am-3pm with a final performance for parents and invited guests at 2:30pm.
