Transitional and Pre-Kindergarten (Whole Year)

T/Pre-K: Beginning training taught in the Kodály approach for children in TK or Pre-K. The age cut-off is age 4 by Sept. 1 of the current choral year.

Cantabella Training Choir One (Whole Year)

CTC-1: Beginning training choir for students ages K-1st. Cantabella Training Choir classes are taught in the Kodály approach for children K thru 5th grades. There are three levels of CTC classes: CTC-1, CTC-2, and CTC-3.

Cantabella Training Choir Two (Whole Year)

CTC-2: Intermediate training choir for students ages 2nd-3rd grade.

Cantabella Training Choir Three (Whole Year)

CTC-3: Advanced training choir for students in 4th-6th grade.

Children's Choir (Whole Year) CC: The Children’s Choir is composed of choristers in the 5th through 8th grades. Singers are placed in choir levels by audition according to age, maturity, music ability, theory knowledge and space availability.   Chamber Choir (Whole Year)

CH: The Chamber Choir is composed of our advanced male and female choristers in the 7th through 12th grades. This choir consists of SATB voices, including boys with either treble or changed voice. Singers are placed in choir levels by audition according to age, maturity, music ability, theory knowledge and space availability. Students in the Chamber Choir will have opportunities to attend local or regional choral festivals.  

Honors Choir (Whole Year)

HC: The Honors Choir is an auditioned choir for male or female treble singers, 7th through 12th grade, who are interested in preparing for choral competition.  Members of the Honors Choir must be committed to possible national or international travel for choral festivals or competitions.  Honors Choir is only offered Thursdays at our Pleasanton location and is strictly by audition or invitation.
