Christine Herring has been immersed in music since early childhood, beginning with simple piano pieces like "Chopsticks" on her grandmother's piano. She went on to study flute, while also discovering a deeper passion for guitar and percussion—instruments that continue to shape her musical interests today. Her background is rooted in hands-on exploration and a love of rhythm, sound, and creative expression across many instruments.
Christine's teaching approach is playful, engaging, and curiosity-driven, with a focus on helping children experience music in an active, joyful way. She loves incorporating music from around the world to keep lessons fresh and inspiring, encouraging little ones to explore rhythm, movement, and sound with wonder. Attentive to each child's needs, she creates a learning environment that is safe, supportive, and full of encouragement—an especially natural fit for our youngest Harmony Explorers.
Outside of teaching, Christine is a mom, artist, musician, and photographer. She loves spending time outdoors with her kids, going on adventures, and finding creative inspiration in everyday life.
