Kasey is a beloved fixture at TMSA—a teacher whose warmth, creativity, and genuine love for her students have made her a favorite of families for years. She received her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from Jacksonville State University in 2018 and has spent the last seven years with TMSA teaching piano, ukulele, and intro to music classes.
In addition to teaching, Kasey serves as Program Director for Harmony Explorers, our music program for children ages 3-5. She's also written toddler curriculum for previous TMSA programs, bringing a rare blend of expertise: deep musicianship paired with a true understanding of how young children learn, play, and discover. Her thoughtful, imaginative approach shapes the Harmony Explorers experience and the joyful environment families have come to love.
Kasey teaches all ages but finds the greatest joy in working with our youngest beginners. She believes that music is a natural and joyous part of childhood, and she considers it a personal mission to engage students in creative ways—helping them build the skills and confidence needed for a lifelong bond with music.
Outside of TMSA, Kasey treasures time with her extended family and loves reading and writing stories. She and her husband have a toddler daughter who keeps them happily busy when Kasey isn't teaching—an experience that, no doubt, deepens her insight into the magical world of early childhood music.
