Cooking Improv: Hands-On Learning. Real-World Impact.

Bring your group to La Soupe for an immersive field trip where students roll up their sleeves, sharpen real kitchen skills, and discover how food rescue helps fight hunger right here in our community.

This interactive experience goes far beyond a typical cooking lesson. Students will step into our cooking studio, see a peek into our transform kitchen and see firsthand how we Rescue, Transform, and Share food that would otherwise go to waste—turning it into nourishing meals for neighbors in need.

What your students will experience:

  • Age-appropriate kitchen and knife safety instruction
  • Hands-on prep with real rescued produce
  • Creative cooking without a recipe—building problem-solving and teamwork
  • A shared, family-style meal made by the group

Curriculum connections: food systems, sustainability, nutrition, math (measuring and scaling), teamwork, and community service.

Ideal for: schools, scout troops, youth groups, summer camps, homeschool co-ops, and after-school programs.
