
Cooking Improv! is all about learning to cook with what you have—just like we do at La Soupe when we rescue food to reduce waste. In this hands-on class, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how we Rescue, Transform, and Share food with our community.
Participants will:
Learn about La Soupe’s mission and food rescue process
Practice basic knife and kitchen safety skills
Prep rescued produce for our Transform team to cook into meals
Get creative in the kitchen by cooking without a recipe
Make and share healthy, delicious dishes with the group
With guidance from our chef, students will turn rescued ingredients into something tasty—while building confidence, creativity, and kitchen know-how. Come ready to chop, taste, learn, and share!
