Wizard of Oz MAINSTAGE EXPERIENCE Ages 9-17
2 Week Full Day Camp
In a first-of-its-kind production for Metropolis, youth actors and Metropolis School students are invited to audition for the mainstage's Wizard of Oz!
Following auditions, April 4th and 6th, youth will be invited to join a 2-week camp where they will learn their music, choreography, and staging Monday through Friday before joining the rest of the cast one weekend weekend day a week.
Actors 15-17 have the additional opportunity to lead their peers as Music Supervisor, Dance Captain, and Script Supervisor with mentorship from the creative team. The cast members selected for these roles will NOT be charged tuition in thanks for their extra efforts and leadership.
Following the two-week rehearsal camp, the entire cast will meet in the evenings for tech week.
**Please Note: Acceptance into the cast and camp includes the commitment of all Wizard of Oz performances. Those accepted will recieve a $250 tuition credit towards a future enrollment.
Camp Tuition (upon casting): $500
Rehearsal Camp: June 15-28, Monday-Friday 9am-3:30pm + 1 weekend day a week 10am-4pm
Tech Rehearsals: Tuesday June 30th-July 11th Times TBD
Performance Compensation: $250 tuition credit towards a future enrollment
Performances: Thursdays-Sundays starting June 12th through August 9th, performance times vary |

Pre-Professional Production
In this Broadway and Box Office hit, Roxie Hart is sent to prison after murdering a faithless lover. Follow Roxie as she and the other Merry Murderesses struggle for the spotlight from behind bars. With classic songs like "All That Jazz" and "Cell Block Tango", we can't wait for the roaring twenties to hit our stage!
