Students will engage in activities that explore themes from the musical such as overcoming adveristy, the power of friendship, bravery, and acceptance. This is a prerequisite class for any enrollment show with WTP. This class will introduce the core concepts of

Musical Theatre! Students will learn choreography, dance technique, singing and breathing techniques, as well as learning how to perform confidently on stage. They will learn how to notate blocking, project their voice, and many other skills required of musical theatre actors. All students at Wellesley Theatre Project need to have this foundation before performing in a full production during the school year.
