Boom, splat, slime, ooze, fizz – we’ll have a blast and make a mess as we explore the science behind chemical reactions! We’ll form hypotheses, record data and draw conclusions just like real scientists!
Class Description
- Hands on science lab exploring chemistry with safe “kitchen chemistry” ingredients
- Each week students will engage in a new lab project
- Students build science vocabulary
Skills and Content
- Science - forming hypothesis, making & recording observations, and results, measuring, forming
- conclusions, displaying results
- Math - Classification, addition & subtraction, multiplication, decimals and fractions, comparison, graphing measurement
