01/08/26 - 03/12/26 (10 weeks)

Big enough to want to play instruments, but not quite ready for private lessons yet?!  This class is designed to build a strong foundation in musical knowledge and skills through playing instruments, for kids that love music and for kids that are new to participating in music. Perhaps they'll even discover what instrument they want to play into the future!

We will play instruments together focus on specific instrument skills on xylophone (piano!), percussion (drums!), and ukulele (strings!).  And we will cover basic music concepts, like rhythm and tempo and dynamics and reading music (and many more!).  Kids will leave having sung together, played musical games together, and tried several different instruments (we will play piano, snare drum, violin, for example).

It's always a great joyful time and everyone leaves knowing more about music and more about what they love about music. ;)

Ages 4-6 years, parents can stay, but do not attend class (there is a waiting room and giant window where you can observe- it's really quite fun to observe!) :)

Cheers to discovering music, joyfully! :)
