Stings and Things!  Get ready to discover or increase your knowledge about string instruments! String instruments have a lot in common AND each have their own interesting details to discover!  All levels and knowledge welcome*!  I've taught orchestra, guitar and ukulele lessons, built dulcimers with kids, have an autoharp that needs a player!  I'm excited to share something new and build upon what you know on any string instrument you bring or that I have in my studio!

We will learn some basics, or increase your knowledge, on an instrument of your choice (made a dulcimer, but want to learn to play it?  maybe some ukulele skills?  want to increase your guitar knowledge?  just getting started and want to investigate an auto-harp? ever tried a violin?

We will also have the opportunity to weave on a wooden weaving board- with actual strings- yarn!  Not required, but it was so loved in our summer camp and it does fit in here since we're talking about STRINGS! hehe

We also have 'down time' in our camps- to allow for building with legos, reading in our book nook, and just enjoying each other's company.  A must for a joyful day camp experience!

*Campers are divided by age/previous knowledge in our "content learning circles."
