Weaving is like painting with thread. In this creative class, we’ll explore small-scale weaving on unexpected bases and beautiful found objects.

You might create circular woven pieces on shells, turn your designs into jewellery or hair accessories, experiment with miniature baskets, and discover other sculptural forms as the weeks unfold. We’ll play with colour, texture and layering, learning techniques that transform simple fibres into intricate, eye-catching works.

This class encourages curiosity and experimentation. It’s less about perfection and more about discovering how thread, form and imagination can intertwine. You’ll leave with unique handmade pieces and a fresh way of seeing the materials around you.
