Turn everyday cans into something worth keeping. In this hands-on metal art class you’ll learn how to cut, shape and gently form aluminium cans into creative pieces like flowers and small sculptures. It’s practical, relaxed and surprisingly satisfying once you start seeing the potential hiding in the recycling bin.
The workshop is run by local metal sculpture artist Jimbo, who will guide you through the tools and techniques for working with thin metal safely and shaping it into strong, eye-catching designs.
No experience needed. You’ll finish the session with your own handmade piece and a few new skills you can keep using at home. Expect a friendly workshop atmosphere, a bit of problem-solving, and the quiet satisfaction of making something with your hands.
