Tweens: Characters and Costumes

In this fun and creative course, students will learn how to design and draw their own unique characters, drawing inspiration from anime and pop culture. Together we’ll explore how to bring ideas to life on the page through sketching, costume design, and storytelling elements. To complete the experience, each student will also create a prop to go with their character—something that ties their design into the real world. This class is perfect for young artists who love anime, cosplay, or just dreaming up original characters.
