Experiments & Activities Include:

• Quicksand Simulation

You’ll mix cornstarch and water to create quicksand that you can stand on if you move fast, but sink into if you stay still!

• Slime Making

Make your own cross-linked polymer slime using safe, non-toxic ingredients like glue and a borax solution—an easy way to see how molecules can link together to change a substance’s properties.

• Flubber Fun

Mix up flubber (a polymer similar to slime) and explore something that’s partly solid and partly liquid! You’ll feel how its molecules stretch and bounce.

• Mad Scientist Bubble Lab

Create bubbles using chemical reactions and foam—fun for all ages and a great way to see gas production and surface tension in action!
