Welcome to Summer Camps! Early REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS through April 15th

Enjoy a full day of summer camp at our Washington Location. Our camps focus not only on STEAM, but also teach soft skills, such as public speaking, teamwork, communication, creativity and problem solving.

All camps are for campers ages 6 - 11 unless otherwise noted.

Full Days are 9am - 4pm
**Each half day camper must bring their own lunch, 2 snacks, and a water bottle. **


Half-Days Mornings are 9am - noon
Half-Day Afternoons are 1pm - 4pm
**Each half day camper must bring 1 snacks, and a water bottle. **

Afternoons:
On Thursday afternoons we go out for $5 Ice-Cream (additional cost)
On the last day of camp, campers watch a fun movie related to the theme of the week

NOTE: Certain weeks do not offer a half-day option. Half-Day campers will participate in the curriculum offered during their session. 
NOTE: Some camps ONLY offer half-day option.

 

Week 1: Epic Engineering Disasters, June 22 - June 26

Campers will explore historical engineering disasters, from collapsing buildings like the Fidenae stadium and bridges like the Tay Bridge Tacoma Narrows Bridge, to sinking ships like the Titanic.  They will build various structures discover what went wrong and design and test solutions! 

Some of the disaster covered in this camp are: Colossus of Rhodes, Fidenae stadium, tower of Pisa, Tacoma bridge, Exxon oil spill, city group skyscraper, Titanic, wigs of Icarus.

This camp is a lot of hands on fun!

Week 1: BattleBots: Camp Witch Doctor, June 22 - June 26
Afternoon Camp for 8 to 14 year olds!

Are you ready to step into the exciting world of BattleBots? Join our B3 Robotics Camp powered by Team Witch Doctor—a legendary team from the hit TV show—to build your very own combat robot !

 

This hands-on, beginner-friendly camp is perfect for young engineers, tinkerers, and robot fans. Learn the math, science, and engineering behind robot combat while building a lifter, hammer, or grabber robot! Option to purchase Robot before or after camp that you can take home and continue competing with!

Week 2: Space Explorers, June 29 - July 3

Star Wars fans & future astronauts will love this out-of-the-world camp! Explore the mysteries of space and learn about our solar system & space travel. Create moon rocks, Yoda's bubbling slime swamp, chemical powered rockets, beautiful artwork, solar system bracelets, design and build a solar oven, undergo Jedi master training, learn about gravity, watercycles, Astronaut helmets and much more!

Week 3: Future ArKIDtect & Design, July 6 - 10

At Junior ArKIDtect & Design, each camper will become the architect, builder and interior designer of their very own 24" high doll house, perfect for everything from LOLs to Superhero Hideouts! Create blueprints, design wallpaper, design and build furniture, add electronics. The possibilities are endless. At the end of the camp, everyone gets to take their creations home.

Week 4: Zany Zoology, July 13 - 17

Are you ready for an adventure into the animal kingdom? From majestic mammals to soaring birds to awesome reptiles — it's an animal lover's dream! Join us to learn animal facts about habitats, behavior, appetite, and most importantly, the threats many of these amazing animals face today. Through hands-on activities, simulations, models, and experiments, our classroom will be transformed into a zoology lab. This is where fun meets furry!

Week 5: Wizarding Potions Lab, July 20 - 24

If you have always wanted to attend Wizarding School or simply love making your own potions, you will love this fun-filled “magical” class! Campers will create a unique wand, then through the magic of chemistry make amazing potions and cast crazy spells including magical creature potions, levitation spells, color changing potions and more! Culminate the week by demonstrating your skills in Wizarding School and testing your ability to catch a snitch.

Week 6: Junior Robotics, July 27 - August 1

Welcome to the world of robotics! Campers will use a variety of robotics platforms including: BeeBot, Coder Mouse, Squishy Circuits and Edison Robot! Campers will also learn about how machines work, electricity, circuits and power sources as they work with their Rover and Snap Circuits. STEM becomes STEAM when art is added into the mix with Squishy Circuits, Art Bots, Programming Vests and Recycled Robots. Option for campers ages 8+ to participate in the BattleBots Witch Doctor Camp in the afternoon.

Week 7: Future Vet, August 3 - 7

This is THE camp for animal lovers and future veterinarians! Campers will "adopt" a stuffed animal to perform mock exams, surgeries and other procedures. Best part, at the end of camp, the stuffed animal and vet supplies are theirs to keep! Camp topics include: The Veterinarian’s Office, The Veterinary Pharmacy and Lab, Basic Animal Anatomy & Physiology, Pet Care & Nutrition, First Aid & Emergencies, Diagnosing Common Illness & Injuries, Treatment Plans, Solving “Medical Mysteries” and Getting into Vet School.

Week 8: Minecraft Mania, August 10 - 15

Calling all Minecraft fans to this one-of-a kind camp that is the perfect blend of Minecraft-themed STEAM activities. Campers will rotate through four fun and engaging stations each day with activities that include building with LEGO Minecraft sets, Minecraft themed science experiments and engineering builds, Minecraft-themed art, stop motion movies, and of course time to play Minecraft. On the last day of camp, campers will participate in a Minecraft-themed escape room activity, where the kids will use the science and engineering skills they learned during the week to solve a series of challenges.

NOTE: Campers may bring their own tablet that has been loaded with Minecraft. Tablet must be in a protective case and labeled with camper's name. If you do not want your child to play on a device or do not have a device with Minecraft that is okay, we will have other activites to keep them occupied.

Week 9: Five Days of STEAM, August 17 - 21

Five Days + Five Themes = Unlimited Fun!  

This mixed-aged camp is filled with high-intensity, interdisciplinary projects and other standards-based learning activities that integrate inquiry-based learning, creative expression, problem-solving, technology, and engineering processes.

Daily themes include "Mix it Up", "Paper Magic", "Wearable STEAM", "STEAM with Food", and "Let’s Build". 

Kids will discover the magic of chemistry, make tie-dye T-shirts, create robotic hands, and design and build cars, tornado-proof houses, zip-line racers, and more!

Week 10: Junior Paleontologists, August 24 - 28

Junior paleontologists will love this camp!  The science of all things dinosaur!  Campers will create fossils and coprolites, participate in a dinosaur dig, hatch dinosaur eggs, and measure and compare dinosaurs. Key concepts covered include; the fossil record, measuring, sequencing and comparing, carnivores vs. herbivores, predator vs. prey, visual discrimination and matching, dinosaurs were reptiles, dinosaurs were oviparous, dinosaurs are extinct.
