VTC Kids Day Camp teaches our actors, ages 8–13, to trust their creative ideas, find the courage to express them in front of others, and be supportive collaborators. Campers learn foundational musical theater techniques to communicate character, emotion, and story—building focus while stretching their imaginations.

Through cooperation and collaboration, students develop trust and learn to accept and build on one another’s ideas in an atmosphere grounded in DREAM: Diversity, Reciprocity, Education, Activism, and Mentorship. These skills serve them both onstage and off.

Throughout the camp, students will learn and rehearse a full musical theater production, culminating in performances of our camp show (title to be announced—coming soon!)
