Owen is the Director/Co-owner of The Music & Play Station and Roosevelt Island Music Together.

Owen has lived on Roosevelt Island since 1999 with his wife Bridget and their two sons Jordan and Noah. Owen realized his love for music in the fourth grade when he joined his first school choir. This early love of music translated into an eventual career in musical theatre. Before launching Roosevelt Island Music Together in 2012, Owen spent 25 years in the Broadway companies or National Tours of 42nd Street, Shogun:The MusicalMiss Saigon, The King & I, RENT, and Allegiance: A New Musical. 


Owen moved to Roosevelt Island in 1999 with his wife, Bridget, where they have raised their two children Jordan and Noah who are also professional actors.

Their boys have been seen or heard in dozens of national commercials and voice-overs for several series on Nickelodeon and the Disney channel as well as feature films for Disney/Pixar and 20th Century Fox/Blue Sky. 

Owen holds a BA in Music and Theatre, an MA in Theatre, and is a Certified Level 1 Music Together® teacher.

Bridget is the Assistant Director and Co-owner of The Music & Play Station and Roosevelt Island Music Together. Bridget was born and raised in Southern California in a family that played with music everyday. Her father Vic, a playwright and composer, would make up songs about the moon, the rain, fishing or anything that would reflect the days activities. Her Mom, Lita, would create harmonies, and singing together became the family nighttime ritual. Her love of music and performing grew into a career in musical theatre that has taken her all over the Country and the World with The American Music Company, Holland America Cruises, various regional theatre productions, and the First National Tour of Miss Saigon. After performing for fifteen years, Bridget settled Roosevelt Island with her husband, Owen, where they have raised their two children Jordan and Noah who are all professional actors. Their boys have been seen or heard in dozens of national commercials, voice-overs for several series on Nickelodeon and the Disney channel, feature films for Disney/Pixar and 20th Century Fox/Blue Sky. Bridget is a registered Music Together teacher.

Liz comes from a long line of musicians and teachers. She is positive that constant musical reinforcement from her family instilled a love of music and theatre which led her a career in performing and teaching. She holds a BA from Bucknell University in Music with an emphasis in classical vocal performance and a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in acting. She also holds a MA in Theatre Education from Emerson College. She has her own studio, "Let's Start with Liz Asti" (www.letsstartwithlizasti.com) which teaches adult theatre performers the fundamentals of music theory. You may have seen her on The Sing Off - Season 4 on NBC with her a cappella group Element. She has performed in plays and musicals all across the country and especially loves premiering new works.
