Our background in education and a curriculum grounded in early childhood education theory means B3 (Bricks, Bytes and Bots) classes for preschoolers get kids truly thinking and problem solving.

BRICKS classes are more than just copying a picture of a simple build. Preschoolers brainstorm, create, test, and redesign age appropriate projects using the Engineering Design Process. We use a variety of building materials to develop new ideas for the engineering challenge we introduce.

BYTES  We use age appropriate software for the children in the BYTES classes to develop logic, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

BOTS classes incorporate age appropriate coding and programming. Children will learn about the parts of a robot, and their functions as well as other robotic concepts to help their frame of reference.  They will have hands on experience with dozens of robots in the course of our BOTS classes. We also experiment with electrical circuitry and children will construct different types ofcircuit boards on a regular basis in class.

BEAKERS classes take natural scientists (aka preschool children) and introduces them to: science vocabulary, developing hypotheses, making predictions, recording results and drawing conclusions. We also experience the world around us with regular microscope lessons.  All of this happens in a curiosity driven, collaborative, small group class setting with experienced teachers who scaffold rich learning experiences.
