Sewing with Survivors: Healing Happens Here!
Come sew with us.
Sewing with Survivors is a special sewing class created specifically for women who are survivors of assault, domestic violence, abuse, trafficking or other forms of violence. This beginner-friendly class is a welcoming opportunity to sit at a sewing machine, learn something new, create with your hands and spend time in a space designed with survivors in mind.
You do not need to know how to sew. We will teach you! Sewing machines, fabric, tools and supplies are provided for use during class. Just bring yourself.
There is also no expectation to share your story. You do not have to tell us what happened, explain your experience or talk about anything you are not comfortable discussing. You are simply welcome to come and sew.
Registration is FREE, with a suggested donation of $45 for those who are able and would like to help support the program.
Because space in this class is limited and the program was created specifically for survivors, we kindly ask that you only register if you are truly a survivor of assault, abuse or domestic violence. This helps us protect these spaces for the women this program was created to serve.
