Beginning/Advanced Sewing - This class is invite only.  Please do not register if you have not been invited.

This class is designed for students who have successfully completed 3 – 4 semesters of Beginning Sewing and have been personally invited to register for this next level of instruction.

Students in this class will begin working on more advanced sewing projects while continuing to strengthen the technical skills needed to become confident and independent sewists. A major focus of this class is developing greater control of the sewing machine, allowing students to safely and effectively sew without using speed control.

Some of the skills students in this class will continue to develop include:
* Sewing machine control and precision stitching
* Sewing without speed control
* Advanced seam techniques and construction methods
* Pattern reading and following multi-step directions
* Problem solving and sewing machine troubleshooting
* Increased independence and confidence while sewing

Students will begin the semester with intermediate projects and will gradually progress to larger and more complex creations as their skills develop.

If your child has participated in one of our sewing classes in the past and is still working on refining stitch quality, sewing machine control, and overall confidence, we recommend continuing in Beginning Sewing until they receive an invitation to join this class.

Students who have previously taken this class will be working on new projects and developing new skills this semester.

Cost:$260/Semester
Semester Length: Semester is 12-Weeks/Classes

There will not be any regular classes during the weeks of:
* October 12 - 16, 2026
* November 23 - 27, 2026
