Teen Sewing/Textile Arts & Fashion Club!

This class is a special sewing club designed just for Teens (Middle School and up!) who are interested in learning how to sew, create, and design their own projects.

Whether students are brand new to sewing or have a small amount of experience, this class provides a fun and supportive environment to build confidence while learning the fundamentals of sewing. Students will create clothing, accessories, and other exciting projects throughout the semester while developing valuable life skills such as patience, problem solving, creativity, and perseverance.

Some of the skills students in this class will be working on include:

* Learning how to safely operate a sewing machine

* Threading sewing machines and winding bobbins

* Sewing straight lines, curves, and corners

* Understanding fabrics and sewing tools

* Reading and following simple patterns

* Basic pattern drafting and design concepts

* Troubleshooting sewing machines and common sewing challenges

* Building confidence and independence as a sewist

Students will begin the semester with smaller projects and will gradually progress to larger and more advanced creations as their skills develop.

Students who have taken this class previously will be working on new projects and learning new skills this semester.

Class Time: 6:40 PM - 8 PM

Last Day of Class: December 14, 2026
Cost:$260/Semester
Semester Length: Semester is 12-Weeks/Classes

There will not be any regular classes during the weeks of:
* October 12 - 16, 2026
* November 23 - 27, 2026
