Refining Movement and Visual Storytelling

Get ready to take physical theater to the next level. Mimes & Silent Film Theater Camp 2 is a creative, movement focused camp designed for students who want to deepen their performance skills or experience the art of silent storytelling for the first time in a fun and supportive environment.

Throughout the week, students will build on foundational mime techniques while exploring more advanced movement, facial expression, and physical storytelling inspired by classic silent films. Campers will practice creating clear characters, dynamic scenes, and visual narratives using only their bodies and imagination.

Whether students are returning to refine their skills or joining for the first time, instruction is tailored to meet each performer where they are. Students will develop body awareness, focus, timing, and stage presence while learning how to communicate emotion and story without words.

At the end of the week, parents, friends, and family are invited to a special showcase where students will perform silent scenes and mime routines that highlight everything they have learned throughout the camp.
