In this important workshop, tweens learn to communicate with emergency services, check if someone is responsive, treat minor cuts, scrapes, and burns, apply simple bandages, recognize allergic reactions, administer EpiPens, and understand the basics of staying safe in emergencies. They will learn how to recognize symptoms of cardiac arrest and to perform hands-only chest compressions. Perfect preparation for babysitting or taking care of a younger sibling. As teens learn to help others, we build empathy and foster teamwork to strengthen problem-solving, focus, and decision-making under pressure. This practice also enhances coordination through hands-on activities like bandaging or CPR techniques. Participants will put together their own first aid kits and receive a first aid certification.
