OUTDOOR CLASS PROTOCOLS
Please share this information with caregivers who bring children to class!
What to Bring:
Please make a bag of instruments for your family that you or your caregivers can bring to class. Here’s what to add:
- Rhythm sticks or wooden spoons, a set for EACH person -- adults, too!
- Egg shakers, maracas or homemade shakers (small bottles containing dried beans, rice or popcorn), two for EACH person..
- Scarves, one for EACH person. The more colorful, sheer and light, the better!
- A small drum to share among the people in your group. This can be a large plastic bowl turned upside down.
- A water-resistant blanket to define your space, not too large, as the ground can be damp.
Important Reminders:
- PLEASE STAY HOME if anyone in your family has any symptoms of illness.
- Stay 6 feet apart from non-family members.
- For ages 3 and up, wear a mask and follow CDC mask guidance. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/about-face-coverings.html
- Do not share instruments or blankets with anyone outside of your family.
- If your child starts to wander, please bring them back to your blanket.
