Our Instructors Know How to Inspire!

The teachers at Music Place Mansfield and MPM Studio Theater are talented, educated and most importantly inspirational. Our teachers' experience gives them the ability to pass on their love of the Performing Arts in a positive, uplifting, and encouraging way. They understand musicality, stage presence and the art of the performance. Our goal is to share our love of the Performing Arts with others and to help all of our students, both young and old, "Discover The Arts."

Our Instructors:

ALICE BISHOP

Owner & President

Alice Bishop has taught piano for 40 years. In addition to teaching piano, she produces and directs local theater. Through her experience, she has refined her own strategies and techniques leading to the curriculum that is now taught at Music Place Mansfield Fine Arts Conservatory, Bishop Method Piano Fun. Her philosophy, “It has to be fun!” is the cornerstone for all of the lessons taught at her studio. Students of Music Place Mansfield and MPM Studio Theater not only continue in their lessons year after year, but many go on to play and perform throughout their lives. Some enjoy careers in the performing arts, while others simply enjoy the gift of playing and sharing their talents. Running the studio may keep her busy, but Mrs. Bishop always has time for our students. Her goal is to provide a fun and inspirational environment where students can grow their gifts and talents, build their self-esteem and "Discover the Arts!"
