COVID PROTOCALLS

WILD SALAMANDER SUMMER 2020 COVID PROTOCOLS

DROP OFF
Students will be dropped off and check in with staff member.
Parents/ adults will not be allowed in the studio spaces prior to or during class.
We ask that parents of students entering grades 1-2 remain onsite for duration of the class, adults can wait in their vehicle or relax in the Hosta garden or patio.
If a child needs to use the restroom we will ask the parent to escort them.  

FACE COVERINGS
Students are required to wear face coverings (masks or face shields) any time that they are away from their assigned workspace.  
Students may remove face coverings when seated at their workspace to prevent overheating.
Instructors will wear a face-covering
Individuals on property will follow face-covering protocols which will be posted.

WORKSPACE
Student workspace: individual tables spaced 6’ from each other.  
Classes will take place in shaded outdoor studios unless noted in description

MATERIALS:
Student materials will be boxed individually and sharing is not allowed.  
Students may request a list of supplies prior to class and bring their own.  Some supplies will be available for purchase from Wild S

HYDRATION
Students will bring personal water bottles and public water fountains will be unavailable.

RESTROOMS:
Restrooms are located inside the building, students will go to the restroom alone.
Restrooms will be sanitized after each use.
Students grades 1-3 will be escorted by an adult and reminded of hygiene protocols.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
One of the following will be applied based on teacher preference
a rain date will be scheduled, class will move to indoor studio or a digital class will be scheduled.  If a student does not wish to participate a credit will be put on students account.
