CREATING LARGE SCALE PASTELS
It's a new year an a new you, it's time to shake off the cobwebs! This 6 week pastel class will challenge you to create a large pastel painting. This means significantly larger than what you usually do. Working larger will lend itself to larger, broader, gestural strokes across the paper. You will see a transition in your painting style as you learn to adapt to a larger size paper, and you will find you have more room for expressive movement. Once you work larger, your other smaller work may seem much easier. Please bring an iPad with photos to work from or printed photos and all materials to the first class.
