Step into a full-scale production experience as part of StageDoor’s Summer Company. This program is designed for dedicated performers ready to collaborate, grow, and bring a full production to life—from first rehearsal to final bow.

Students will work alongside a creative team to grow as performers, collaborate with their cast, and experience the rhythm and responsibility of a full rehearsal and production process.

Screen to Stage: Movie Musical Camp

Grades 6–8 | June 1–5 | 10:00am–3:00pm

Lights, camera… musical theatre! This high-energy camp invites students to explore the exciting world of movie musicals brought to life on stage.

Throughout the week, students will work with songs and scenes inspired by beloved movie musicals such as The Greatest Showman, Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, and Mean Girls. Campers will receive their script on Monday, participate in quick auditions, rehearse all week, and present a polished showcase for family and friends on Friday.

Whether your student loves singing, acting, dancing, or wants to try something new, this camp offers a supportive introduction to musical theatre.

 

Page to Stage: Play Creation Camp

Grades 6–8 | June 22–26 | 10:00am–3:00pm

In Page to Stage, students become playwrights, performers, and creative collaborators as they work together to write and perform an original play from start to finish.

Campers will:

  • Brainstorm ideas and develop characters
     
  • Write scenes collaboratively
     
  • Rehearse and perform their original work
     

Explore behind-the-scenes roles with opportunities to help create costumes and props

 

The week concludes with a final performance for family and friends, celebrating the work the students have created together.

Premiere Summer Theatre Camp

Dive into two weeks of creativity, imagination, and theatre fun with our Summer Theatre Camp. Designed for students in grades 2–6, this camp focuses on building confidence, collaboration, and storytelling through music, movement, and performance.

Campers will:

  • Explore acting, movement, and ensemble skills
     
  • Learn how stories come to life on stage
     
  • Work together to create a full theatrical production
     

The experience culminates in a final performance for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Teen Leadership Lab

Grades 8–10 | July 13–24

Camp Hours:

  • 10:00am–3:00pm daily
     
  • Focused Leadership Sessions:
     9:00–10:00am and 3:00–4:00pm on July 15, 17, and 19
     

Tuition:

Leadership Lab is a two-week, hands-on leadership experience for students ready to step into responsibility, collaboration, and creative leadership.

Participants will:

  • Complete a StrengthsFinder assessment
     
  • Build leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
     
  • Serve as the Student Creative Team for the Finding Nemo camp, supporting rehearsals and creative decision-making
     

This program blends focused leadership learning with real-world application, offering teens meaningful experience they can carry into school, jobs, and future opportunities.
