At Farm School OC our passion is teaching children about healthy eating and nutrition plus compassion and care towards animals. We believe that teaching compassion towards animals and healthy eating habits is something that we must start young for children to development healthy habits for life.

Our Farm School OC Enrichment program for olders students from 8 years of age to 12 years of age will be focusing on the same principals of our other Farm School OC programs but our older students will dive deeper into the world of life sciences and farm life.

This class will include culinary explorations featuring locally sourced seasonal produce, in-depth discussions on animal behaviors and habitats, engaging hands-on science experiments, crafting sessions tailored to the seasons and of course time brushing, feeding and caring for all the animals on the farm.

We love to teach our students that learning is fun and something they want to do daily!

This class will be meeting on Thursdays at Tanaka Farms in Irvine from 2pm to 4pm.
