Music Together class visits engage the whole family in musical FUN!  Class will include songs, dances, chants, creative play, and instrument play.  While visiting a class in the current session, you and your child will experience the joy of music-making and learn more about what Music Together can bring to your family.  Try a Class

Music Together was the first early childhood music program to offer music classes for mixed ages. Child development researchers have known for a long time that the natural, family-style environment of mixed-age classes is the best way for young children to learn. In our experience, it works! Mixed Ages classes offer developmentally appropriate musical experiences for children from birth to age five. Mixed age groupings foster natural, family-style learning where the whole family can participate together. Older children love to show what they know, the younger ones love to watch and imitate, and adults model active, joyful music-making. The relaxed, no-pressure environment lets all kids (and adults!) learn at their own pace. Class activities include singing, moving, listening, observing, and exploring instruments. The wide variety of adult-child activities encourages fun interaction and offers new ways for families to play musically at home. Our nine song collections with songbooks, cds, and online resources provide years of exciting musical growth. Parents, grandparents, friends, and caregivers are always welcome to accompany the children. Classes meet for 45 minutes.

Rhythm Kids^® ages 4-8

Rhythm Kids^® is drumming, dancing and music games that support music literacy & competence. The program is evidence based and uses proven teaching methodology in a developmentally appropriate, inclusive class setting. Kids know what they like. For many
4 - 8 year olds, it's telling silly stories, playing games (with rules, of course!), and sharing new things. Our interactive Rhythm Kids^® classes tap into how big kids are wired to learn. Music games, rhythm pattern play, drumming, and more engage their creativity—and inspire them to explore their musicality in new ways, both during and outside class.  During each weekly, high-energy class, kids have a blast singing, dancing, and jamming to rhythms and tunes inspired by musical traditions around the world. Their specially trained teacher leads group and individual activities that get students up and moving as they learn to compose, choreograph, and conduct.  Music and movement activities naturally support several key developmental areas including executive function, emerging math skills, and leadership. Take home materials include a songbook, music cd, and access code for online recordings and drumming videos.
