Brian joined Songs and Signs, LLC in August of 2013 as a partner with Denise. He graduated from ISU with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Drake. His work history has primarily been managing manufacturing companies.

Brian first became involved in Music Together when he took his grandson Max to a class and although Brian did not consider himself musical, he loved the class (Max is still a Music Together student and loving it). Brian has since learned that everyone is musical!

Brian handles the business management side of the business. Brian is grateful to have such an awesome staff of teachers. His main focus is to provide as good of an experience outside the classroom as our teachers do in the classroom for all of our wonderful families.

Jennifer is a registered Music Together teacher. We are so glad to have her return to teaching in the Des Moines/Ankeny area after living and teaching Music Together in the Iowa City/North Liberty area for several years. Jennifer's enthusiasm and love for children and music shines through and touches all of the families that are lucky to attend her classes!

photo Carol Johnson

Carol has been a part of the Music Together family since 2014, bringing her own two children to classes and participating with joy. Music has always been an important part of her life, singing in the school chorus and playing the flute since the age of nine. Carol was a middle and high school math teacher, but realized that her passion lies in working with younger kids. As she saw the musical development and growth in her own children she realized music was something she wanted to share with as many families as possible. What better way to personally share the love of song and dance than to work directly with children and their families?
