The Fall 2018 Session begins September 12th. Pricing below is for our Fall and Spring Semesters (16 week sessions each). Summer pricing can be found on our website. Policies and drop in fee's are the same.
Class & Semester Fees
DROP-IN FEE: $20 per hour or $30 per 1.5-hour dance and non-performing theatre classes. $12 per hour for fitness classes. The fee may be applied to pro-rated session cost if you choose to register for the remainder of the session. No drop in's allowed for performance theatre.
SEMESTER TUITION FOR NON-PERFORMANCE THEATRE, DANCE, and CAPOEIRA PROGRAM: $272 for the first class in a semester ($17/class); $256 for the second ($16/class); $240 for additional classes in one semester ($15/class). Applies to all registrants in one family. Ballroom is $384 ($24/class) because it is 1.5 hours; a couple registering together receives a 50% discount for the second person. Adult Acting is $384 ($24/class) because it is 1.5 hours.
PERFORMANCE THEATRE SESSIONS: Children's Theatre is $325 for the Fall and $375 for the Spring with the production fee. You can pay upfront for the full year at a discounted price of $675. Teen Theatre is $375 for Fall Drama Production and $375 for Spring Musical Production. Payment can be made upfront for the full year (Fall Drama/Spring Musical) at a discounted price of $725. Adult Musical Studio is only offered in Fall registration for year and is $475.
FITNESS: Fitness Classes are $160 ($10/class) in a semester or $60 for a 1 Month Fitness Class Pass.
CLASS CONFIRMATIONS: Class confirmation letters will be sent via email. If you do not receive a confirmation within one week of submitting your registration, please call us to confirm that we have received it. 212-371-4449.
MAKE-UP POLICY: Two make-ups are allowed for each child and must be taken during the current semester. Make-ups cannot be carried forward to future semesters. You must discuss with your teacher when a make-up class can be taken. Make-ups may be taken in a similar class with teacher approval.
REFUND POLICY: No tuition refunds are given after classes begin. Credit toward future classes may be issued in exceptional circumstances. If you must cancel, we can refund session fees before the first class, less a $25.00 cancellation fee.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: MST&DA follows NYC Public School policy with regard to weather cancellations. Should public schools close due to inclement weather, our classes will be closed as well. Semester extensions due to these cancellations will be confirmed via email.
WAIVER & RELEASE (read and agree)
I understand that Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance shares my concern about my safety and that of my child. I understand that MST&DA and its landlord, RIOC, do not accept responsibility for injuries, damages or loss, which my child or I may suffer while participating in its programs. Accordingly, I agree to assume the full risk of any physical injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, which my child or I may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with any MST&DA programs.
PERMISSION TO TREAT (read and agree)
In the event of emergency, I authorize MST&DA to render basic first aid and to secure from any licensed hospital, physician, and/or
medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for me or my child’s immediate care, and agree that I will be responsible for
payment of any and all medical services required.
