When do I need to pay for the month’s L.A.C.E.R. PLUS Learning Lab registration?
Classes for the following months will be posted at least a month ahead of time and payment is due by the first of the month. So, if you would like you students to be a part of October’s L.A.C.E.R. L.A.C.E.R. PLUS is a division of L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs, a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization whose mission is to provide underserved middle and high school youth with free arts and literacy-based after school programs which include academic support, arts programming, enrichment activities and sports in a safe and caring environment. It is funded by individuals, parents, as well as corporate, government, and foundation grants. At King Middle School, we offer these spots on a random lottery basis in the beginning of June. Students enrolled in the free program for 2015-2016 academic school year have already been notified.
However, there are still many students who need a safe place to be after school to engage with their peers and develop their talents. L.A.C.E.R. PLUS offers a wide variety of exciting learning opportunities for your child! L.A.C.E.R. Plus students are not held to grant requirements. They do not have an hourly minimum per day and do not have a daily requirement. Parents can send their student on any day, for as long or as little as they need.
