FALL 2017

FALL 2017 PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP (LEAD CAST)

Children ages 8-18 will sing, dance, act, learn proper stage etiquette while having lots of fun – onstage and off! Two separate casts (Musical Notes and Top Hats). Your child will perform in three full production shows February 2-5, 2018.  

Because there are two separate casts, child may be asked to fill in for another cast as an understudy replacement if needed.

 

Weekly Classes on Mondays 3:30-5:30 (6:30*) pm (Musical Notes Cast) beginning 9/25

9/25 (followed by Parent Meeting), 10/2 (Auditions 3:30pm-6:30pm*) 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/27, 12/4, 12/11 (Weekly Classes)

 

 

*Following auditions, Linda will request specific students to stay one extra hour for blocking rehearsals. Emails with specific students/roles needed will be sent weekly. 6:30 pm if called for blocking rehearsals.

Musical Notes Theater Rehearsals: Tuesday 1/2 Rehearsal 3-7pm, Monday 1/8, Tuesday 1/16, Walk Through 3-7pm, Tuesday 1/23,1/30 Dress Rehearsal 3-7pm

Musical Notes Shows: Friday February 2 6:00 pm, Saturday, February 3 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 4 6:00 pm (performer call time at least one hour prior to ShowTime)

Top Hats Shows: Saturday February 3 6:00pm, Sunday February 4 2:00pm, Monday February 5 6:00pm (performer call time at least one hour prior to ShowTime)

 

 

 

 

Tuition $725

Every family is required to commit to five hours of volunteer time, or a buy-out of $100 per family. Volunteer sign-up or buyout MUST be completed 30 days prior to performance. To pay buyout online select/add "Volunteer Buyout" as a class and proceed with registration. Buyout can also be paid by personal check directly to LBMP.

Included in the tuition:

1 DVD of class show per family (may purchase additional DVDS)

1 cast photo per family (may purchase additional cast photos)

Each student receives 1 LBMP T-shirt, 1 show script and 1 practice CD

Children will need to provide either black character shoes or black jazz shoes (or both).  Children will also be asked to provide tights, shorts and a light-colored tank top to wear underneath costumes beginning with the dress rehearsal.

No replacement CDs will be issued.  Replacement scripts are $25. ALL scripts must be returned to Roger and Hammerstein for Getting to Know the Sound of Music. Therefore, a $25 check/ deposit is needed for each student script. Once Linda Bulgo receives your child’s script the $25 check will be given to you immediately. ALL scripts need to be returned no later than Saturday, 2/3/2018.

Rehearsals and Performances (beginning in January) at Scottish Rite Theatre 19th Ave @ Sloat Blvd.

 

Pickup from school 

Available for St. Finn Barr and Sunnyside Elementary only through December.

Please register for your class first, then "add a class" to include afterschool pickup.

Please add Linda Bulgo to your child's school emergency card and/or authorized pickup list.

 

 

 

Parent Meeting

There will be a Parent Meeting immediately following the first day of the lead class.

Monday 9/25 5:30-6:30pm for Musical Notes Lead and Supporting Cast Families at St. Finn Barr.

Wednesday 9/27 5:30-6:30pm for Top Hats Lead and Supporting Cast Families at St. Finn Barr.

Cast Party Tuesday February 6th 5-7pm in the Scottish Rite Hall for all performers.
