Director / Teacher Jacqueline founded Art Mix Creative Learning Center in January 2005. Since then, she has built Art Mix with an incredible team of art teachers and wonderful students. Jacqueline has worked in the field of art education, specifically teaching children with special needs, since 1994. In 1989, Jacqueline received her B.A. in Government and International Relations from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She earned a Master of Arts Education in 1996, and a Master of Special Education in 1998, from the University of Houston. Jacqueline worked for several years with the pediatric patients at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center through the Children’s Art Project, and at The River Performing and Visual Arts Center. She has lived in Houston for 20 years, where she is raising her three boys.



Studio Manager / Teacher Kelly joined the Art Mix team in 2011. She attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with a BFA in Studio Art and a minor in Art History. Kelly enjoys teaching children of all ages and children with Special Needs. She has a passion for 3-D Arts, Installation, and Film. Kelly fills the rest of her time creating her own artwork.
