Music for the Young Child
Parent and Child Classes

Music communicates so much to a child!

In our classes, the goal is to make music so much fun that children will want to participate in making music all the time. We sing and dance and play music of different styles and cultures. We want children to believe that they can play any instrument they decide to play. We do this by exposing them to many instruments in each class.

We dance and play with:

  • Parachute
  • Stick Horses
  • Balls
  • Ribbons
  • Sarongs
  • Dynabands
  • Drums
  • Boomwackers
  • Tone Blocks
  • Bells
  • Tambourines
  • Xylophones...

                and more

What sets us apart?

“Hands-on” is the rule for the many instruments we introduce. Here are a few of the instruments they will be able to touch and play:

  • Hammered Dulcimer
  • Cello
  • Mandolin
  • Violin
  • Piano
  • Banjo
  • Ukulele
  • Acoustic and Electric Guitar
  • Microphone/Karaoke
  • Trumpet
  • Trombone
  • Flute
  • Steel Drums
  • Accordian
  • Marimba
  • Sitar

By putting these instruments in your children’s hands at this formative age, we teach them not just how to enjoy music, but to make music.
